John Muir Elementary School PTA

The John Muir PTA serves as a common meeting point for parents, teachers, staff, and the principal. It meets monthly, usually on the second Tuesday of the month, from 6:30-8:00 pm in the John Muir Library. During the meetings, there is child care in the cafeteria and dinner for the adults in the library and kids in the cafeteria (all paid for by the PTA).

 
The PTA organizes and sponsors many activities, such as the May Fair, the Book Fair, and Beach Day. The PTA also raises money to be used on a variety of projects.
 

The schedule of meetings for the 2009-2010 academic year is:

  • Fall term:  Sep. 15, Oct. 13, Nov. 10, and  Dec. 8, 2009
  • Winter/Spring term: Jan. 12, Feb. 9, Mar. 9, Apr. 13, May 11, and Jun. 8, 2010

The John Muir PTA is affiliated with the Berkeley PTA Council.
